At this time last year, it seemed everyone was rolling out QR codes; in ads, on price tags at the store, anywhere you could think of, there was that barcode. I had one on the beef I bought last week. Unfortunately, I’m out of touch with technology and my BlackBerry doesn’t have a QR code app that works. I could only dream about what the QR code took me to. Editor Chuck Bowen joked that maybe it took me to the picture of the cow I ate. Yumm! I was thinking something like a recipe. Actually, I like the mystery better. But it got me thinking, does anyone use these anymore? Can you incorporate it into your business or was this just a flash in the pan? And if it was, did anyone gain anything from using them?
