How appropriate that we came across this tweet because our winter interns started today. They’ll be helping us with our annual projects like the Top 100 as well as the day-to-day operations that allow us to provide you content via the magazine, Web and e-newsletters.

Of course, we’re sure to gain insight from their fresh ideas. That’s the beauty of working together and offering programs like internships. Strong companies and industries are built on education – at all levels of the profession – and defined recruiting practices and career paths.

The April 15 deadline is rapidly approaching for the scholarships and internships L&L is offering to green industry students.

This year, L&L and our parent comany, GIE Media, will award two $5,000 scholarships and two summer internships paying $2,500 each to outstanding students. The scholarships are cash awards and the internships will provide students a chance to develop their communication and marketing skills by working with the team here at L&L.
