Everyone is excited about the warm temperatures (so excited, some have no control) and apparently this sign. As of 10:30 a.m., it had more than 29,000 likes and more than 7,000 shares on Facebook. George Takei may have had something to do with it, too.

Anyone can appreciate a traditional glamour shot of an awesome landscape. But one of my favorite ways to look at the land is from the sky, so I love these shots of trees and fields in the Netherlands by Gerco de Ruijter.

He shot the photos between 1993 and 2003 by attaching a camera to a contraption consisting of a helium balloon, fishing rod and a kite.
