For many years, I lived in apartments and shared houses that had little or no greenspace to speak of. Want to have a cookout? Great, set it up in the driveway. Football? Sure, but we’re playing in the living room. Picnic? Take it to the roof.
That’s no way to live.
This summer, thanks to some enterprising hipsters in New York, urbanites could enjoy the benefits of a postage stamp lawn for just $50 an hour. (A grill, Slip ‘n’ Slide and live band cost extra.)
Could be a fun add-on service for contractors in urban areas, or a neat promotional stunt next summer.
